Tampa Sewing Expo

 

What a week this was! Tampa was freezing, no joke, below 32º, not pleasant, especially for all the locals. The whole family went on this trip, which may never happen again. We had a big birthday to celebrate. The kids & DH visited the sites, while Oma, my other mother & I worked the booth ( I did get to run off to Busch Gardens with my kids one day).

One of our very dedicated customers brought us a Show & Tell. On Friday she purchased some great batiks & the Whimsey Bag pattern from Lazy Girls, on Saturday she had her bag finished! Thanks!

Visit us this week in Atlanta. We will have TWO booths, our main booth (930) with all the Melly & Me, Kokka, etc and a SALE booth (136) with over 400 bolts of our beautiful older fabric, 2 cutting tables. Be patient, I hope both booths are super busy so we can make room for new, fun fabrics. Amy Schimler has a new line I can't order till I make some space.

Fall 09 Fabric Festival

Well the weather outside was frightful, but the deals were so delightful.

Thanks to all of you who braved the rain and cold to make our 4th Annual Fall into Fabric Festival a huge success.

Thanks to my girls for stepping up and adding the third generation of worker bees. Another year or two and I can retire and let them take over, right?

Thanks to my moms (Joyce & my other mother Barbara) who got here from Blue Ridge faster than they did from my MIL's house (only 9 miles away). The scenic tour included Acworth and historic Roswell. I know from my childhood that my mom can get you there but she can't always get you back.

Spring Fling - Month of Sales

We I am happy to be through March, we had great shows and I even made some cool stuff but I sure did not post any of it. Our flickr does have some images up of the booth and my newest toy, the Yudu personal screen printer.

All kinds of good stuff is happening for the Some Art Family so I will get back in the groove of posting ASAP.
